MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Recently there has been some confusion about timings of club runs leaving from Apex Park. In future, the time stated on the events list will be the LEAVING time.  You are welcome to arrive earlier to chat etc.

Projects update:

Jeff Brown’s lovely EH has now been repainted and looks a million bucks. The paint job was done by Jess, seen here with her handiwork. Jeff is juggling a few projects at the moment.

Some club members rise to a challenge, others just take the bait. Nothing more to say except it cost Lester $1.

Safety briefing.

Mishap by unknown person.

Accident report.

Lake Nillahcootie Picnic Run 28 February

A great day out was had by a large group of members who headed out to the lake in warm weather. Members left from Wangaratta, picked up others in Benalla and even found a bolter who was already in Swanpool. Fifteen Club Cars and about 25 people enjoyed the sunshine, banter and a picnic by the lake on the official February run. Some members were so impressed by the idea of jet skis, they have suggested that the club purchase one for future lakeside events. Other members suggested jet skis be used for target practice.  One member suffered some mechanical issues but said that he was just ‘braking it in’. All cars returned safely after a great day out.
